Purchased this to change the filter on a friends car. I've had similar filter set-ups, but was able to use other means to get the filter cap off. But since Chevy decided to put everything in the way, w/o a vast selection of larger size sockets, it's hard to get the cap off. This socket fit as it should & made the process much easier.

I was tired of those crappy wrenches that go around the lol filter. I found this option and made my day so much easier and faster. The quality is very strong. Packaging is great and comes in a little bubble wrap bag to keep safe.I shove it in my oil tools bag so when I need it every couple thousand miles

Cant ask for a better deal , it works as intended and for the price buy 4 of them if you are worried about quality. You still wont pay as much as you would buying one off a truck ....

Needed to change my oil and was looking for a filter socket to take off my filter. I have a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, and this fits perfectly with a little maneuvering with a socket extension. Had to use an impact on my drill to break it loose, the previous guy torqued it down. Worked out and would recommend this filter socket.
