The item is well made and gorgeous but is not made for dip pens. This is sumi ink- lots of feathering. If you are not a calligrapher, and are printing something or not using dip pens.. this is a great item. Calligraphers...no go red rider.

These place cards worked perfectly for the bridal tea we had for my daughter. The rest will be used for the wedding! They are lovely.
