The Brazier Head Rivet is a solid rivet that requires a bucking tool to install properly. It has a dome shaped head and a solid shank that gets deformed when compressed to secure the panels it is inserted into. They set with a rivet gun and bucking bar nicely. Make sure you purchase a modified brazier #6 rivet set if you do this.

The aluminum is a little bit harder than the soft rivets I've used in the past, but a hammer and a hard backing is all you need to shape the shank into a second head that deforms into a smooth dome. The shank expands a little bit as well, helping fasten the joints you are mating. Plenty of rivets provided, all good quality metal.

Just the right ductility and hardness- strong yet easy to form. I use a custom-made rivet setting tool to form the head into a dome. A few taps with a hammer and it’s done. Recommended.
