Update; 3 of 4 switches failed/defective within 4,7,8 days - Returned as defective items. Bought 4 of these sail switches to replace an original 2016 switch. Installed the first and it completely failed on the 4th day, in the middle of the night at 25 degrees outside, Replaced that "new" failed switch the same day and installed new sail switch number 2, It lasted only 7 days before it failed. Good thing I bought 4 to "have handy", but what a pain having to completely pull my furnace to replace these junk switches (no exterior RV furnace panel). Avoid these like the plauge,

The sail switch in my RV furnace was malfunctioning. This was a direct replacement. It seems to be a good quality. It has allowed my furnace to work again. It was very easy to install.

ONE WAS BAD RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX AND THE SECOND ONE WORKED FOR THREE DAYS. I WOULDN’T BUY THIS A SECOND TIME. THIS SHOULD BE A HALF A STAR RATING.

Both gave up after a week. I pull it out and put an ohm meter on it, it's trash. After it quit in 3 days, both of them, I repulled my furnace. Same on each switch. One side gets 12V, the other only let's through 1.5v or so. Both switches did this. I purchased the OEM MC brand, I'll see how it does. Don't buy this knockoff. I had the switch out, and manually tripped it and checked it with a volt an ohm meter. No Bueno

Pay attention to the flag direction. 2016 Jayco redhawk 31xl sail switch flag is to the left. Replacement has to be identical. Cost me hours and 85 bucks for tech to teach me this.
