2007 Jeep Commander. Gas cap warning wouldn't stop no matter what new cap is tried. This electronic switch closes a gas vapor check valve intermittently to pressurize and checks to see if there is a leak. The switch itself had a leak and this was a easy 5 min fix. Look on YouTube to find where yours is and how to remove and replace. $200+ job at dealer!!

Okay, the product worked fine to turn the gas cap light off on my 2008 Ram 1500. However, the port for the EVAP line is located in a different position than the OEM pump. On the OEM pump, the port for the EVAP line is on the bottom of the pump, this one is located on the top and at a different angle. I was able to stretch the EVAP line to fit the new pump, but I don't like how tight the line is now. Eventually it will either pull the hose off the port or tear the EVAP line, so I will have to return it and buy one with the port located in the right position. Hope this review helps others.

Had a small evap code tank side. Changed this part. Code returned in about three months. Bought a factory part from dealer. Code hasn’t returned in over a year.

It's not to hard to install, watch a good You Tube video. This is a suspect failure point for EVAP codes on these vehicles. Mine is a 2017 Dodge Durango R/T. Fits great and solved my issue. They pump I took out was definitley bad; rattled when shaken.
