Originally I bought these to hang ornaments from a ceiling and the hook wasn't quite in the right position for that but we were able to tie the metal ornament holder around them and it worked great! These would be great on a refrigerator or in a garage hanging sideways but anything hanging overhead requires some ingenuity.

These magnets are awesome. I use them in my classroom to hang things on the ceiling.

These magnetic hooks worked PERFECTLY for our outside Christmas project! Easy to move around but strong enough to hold light strand in place. If you want to do any decorating on your garage door these are the hooks to use. Sure you can buy store bought decorations but this cost $6 for the hooks and everybody has a strand of lights. Star purchased at thrift store, but you can find one like it on Amazon! (I used all 18 hooks for tree.)

The magnetic hooks are small and, unfortunately, don't hold 25 lbs on my refrigerator. They are fine for light duty, like holding a keyring.

I bought these magnets to hang in the back of my work truck so i can hang items and keep thing more accessible these magnets were the perfect size not get in the way of one and other. The magnet strength is strong and stays sturdy even when diving on bumpy terrain. Not only did I have plenty left over from what i needed in for the van to then use on my fridge the functionality of have the option not to use the hanging hook makes them ideal for any job. A great value for the amount you get functional for any situation you need a magnet.

I like that they are very compact and easy to assemble, but I wish they were stronger. They worked well in our stateroom, but I had to use about 6 of them to be able to hang our door decor.
