While these "moleskin" patches come in a handy little travel case and in convenient, pre-cut sizes, they just don't wow me at allThe first strike is that they are not the traditional moleskin. These seem to be made of a polyester brushed tricot fabric -- closer to cheap carnival stuffed animals than to the traditional, felty moleskin. They actually remind me of these red fabric circles that my dance company uses for our Nutcracker doll's cheeks.Which brings me to the second point: they are also not like moleskin in that the adhesive is completely different and not as strong. On the plus side, I put one of these on to test at the beginning of the day and forgot about it entirely. That's good, since there was no reaction with my sensitive skin. Unfortunately, even though I was wearing socks over this patch, it had pulled off and folded up by the end of the day.They're just not strong enough for this application.
