Solid. But without the tab to hold them in place, it can be tough to keep them from moving when body tightening panels. I ended up using magnets and needle nose pliers to prevent movement.

I am using these shims as I install the fenders on my classic car. IF you are doing a car build or rebuild in this case you will need shims to make the panels fit correctly. These shims come in a nice case and are sorted by size. Happy with this purchase should be enough to finish the car build. Cheers.
