I don't have a way to evaluate the grid size, but it's even. I'm using this to get and even grain size on flavored salt and it is working well.

I bought these to filter liquids. They look good and appear to be stainless steel, but they have developed rust inside with just a few weeks of use. This makes them unsuitable for my needs.

I have the 500 mesh. The screen is extremely well made. Very fine and smooth. The body is made of stainless steel it appears. High quality all around.
