I've an old 1970 442 and the weatherstripping was replaced about twenty years ago. It still looks great, but it was starting to dry out a bit. Bought the 303 rubber seal protectant to apply and hopefully rejuvenate the weatherstripping. After application it was evident that the weatherstripping was much more soft and looked like it did when it was first installed two decades ago. Three months after the application it still looks the same. 303 has a good reputation for making quality stuff, and the rubber seal protectant is no different. If you live in a dry climate this is a must have product on your shelf.

I purchased this as a fan of Aerospace 303 protectant, but didn't realize that it apparently is simply the same product that comes in a spray bottle, just put in a shoe polish-type applicator bottle. That does make it more convenient to apply to door and window seals. But had I known it was the exact same product, I might not have purchased. But I think I can re-use the applicator by refilling with the standard product from my bulk purchase.

If you have a sun roof on your vehicle you need this product to keep the seal in perfect shape. Once your seal becomes dry and brittle say hello to spending several hundred dollars getting it replaced. For a few dollars you can keep the seal for many years to come.

Used to condition and treat roof rubbers for a vw Eos. Before treatment one area of the roof was just pouring water in during torrential rain in December. 303 was applied by dabbing and spreading over all roof rubbers for a few days. This seemed to have helped during sibsequent bad down pours. Fingers crossed for the rest of the winter!

Used it on the rubber door seals on my car. It was easy to apply with the foam applicator and seems to work well. Got rid of the annoying rubber seal against the body of the car rubbing noise.

finally found this to use on my camping trailer, so the windows no longer stick to the rubber seal. nice easy applicator sponge on tip makes it convent too

I am a tad disappointed with this product because it is difficult to determine how affective it truly is. The main issue is the foam applicator - if I can’t apply it properly to all rubber seals then I can’t determine if solution made it on the seals sufficiently. When using the bottle upside down, I could tell there was product on seals; however when I have to use the bottle right side up, the applicator runs dry and it seems as though there is little to no product on the seals. It is quite disappointing given there are many seals that require me to use this bottle right side up. I ended up using a different product to go back over the seals that did not receive a decent amount of 303 solution. I think 303 has to go back to the design board on this and provide a better application method. I purchased two bottles, so I am going to try to put the solution in a different bottle to see if I can save my investment. I will not purchase this product again as long as 303 keeps the applicator.

The full length sunroof rubber seals dry out after a few years on my 4x4 and start to 'creek' in the Autumn. This product was applied a couple of times as the seals were very dry. The seals are now more supple and the noise has stopped.
