Three out of four bulbs that I purchased failed in various ways, in less than one year; flashing, intermittent reliability, and outright complete failure. Avoid it all cost, unless you like to appointment.

Used in a 2005 monte carlo ss for both floor lights. They get hot, but the old bulbs got hot too. Not too concerned. They are not on for long periods of time. Only when doors are open or interior lights manually turned on. Looks cool with the red and black floormats I have in the car. 2 spares if I need them.

At first, I was thinking of going with red. As it is the best for not wrecking night vision. But then it does make seeing contrasting details a little harder. Green is the next best thing and enhances contrast in books or maps.Swapping out the incandescent bulbs was easy. A simple plug and play. Just remember to check the polarity if at first, it does not light up at first.Seems to be a good value for the 4 pack that I needed to do all the bulbs at once.

Quick delivery, Plug and play install. Bright red. Only installed a couple of days ago and hoping they will work longer than the previous LED bulb.

Supposedly, these are replacements for 168s. They may be! I tried to cross over the numbers on the inc bulb but it went nowhere. For some really stupid reason, The Toyota manual gives the wattage for each bulb but didn't fill in the bulb type. Never saw this in a vehicle manual before. I didn't take time to measure the light output differences of the bulb and LED assy. The new LED assy has an apparent brightness two times of the incandescent. The LED is a much more cooler pure white light. Some people don't like these types of cool colors. In the front and rear seat areas of the 2010 Toyota Highlander, the old bulbs were just too dim. I don't want to dig up a flashlight to find where I dropped a round at o'dark thirty with the season opening just minutes away. And, when trying to stay inside the 5 second rule, I could never find the dropped french fry because I couldn't see it without a flashlight. Sheeeesh! I replaced all five bulbs with LED assys at once. The Wife Unit's comment on what I did to improve *her* car was to notice that we can now land aircraft around the car because it is so bright! Cute! The 15 second auto-off-after-the-door-closes still works. And, all the LED assys still ramp up their brightness when you open a door. So fru-fru. The four incandescent bulbs for the front and rear seats were like a 194 or 168 but who knows, the numbers didn't cross over. So, these LED assys are like the 194s in my Malibu yard lights. The Toyota bulbs have the same bases but the filament envelope is smaller. In order to get the new LED assys installed in the ftont lamp assy, the LEDs must be plugged in cockeyed and pushed to the side as the covers are replaced to clear the light covers' hinge in the front two map-light-able overhead lights. But, they will fit without "modificatons", so roll the tool box back into the corner. The center ("back seat") light assy has plenty of room for the new LED assys. I have big old clumsy fingers nowadaze and using a pair of needlenose pliers to grab the incandescent bulbs out of the sockets always ends up with glass all over the place. Use a piece of masking tape to wrap around the inc bulb and rock it out. Get the polarity right. When you're on the last LED replacement, remember that the open door timeout feature will have lapsed and your lamp assys won't respond to door openings until all the doors have been closed to reset the lamp battery-saving timeout feature. Yeah, I know, at least I didn't fire up the DVM before figuring it out. Getting geezer, I guess. Enjoy you new landing lights, eh?
