The extend a reach is a great item. Used it once so far to clean second floor windows and it worked well. Would have liked the squeegee to be a little longer. The pole is solid and sturdy!

Good pole. Excellent service.I bought the 30-foot pole mostly to help me string Christmas lights onto our front yard oak tree. For this it definitely succeeded. (Much better than duct-taping multiple broomsticks together!)The pole was easy to extend. The length was smoothly adjustable between 7 and 30 feet. Once latched, the extensions held their place firmly. The pole performed admirably. However, there were a few surprises. At 5 pounds, the pole is far from heavy. But when stretched to its full 30-foot length, attempting to maneuver it by holding only the last few feet proved unexpectedly tiring. Keeping the pole as vertical as possible appears to be the most practical way to use it. I'm sure this issue applies to any long object and isn't unique to this pole. Regardless, it's good to bear in mind that care and strength are necessary to control this item at full extension.Although the pole is solidly made and the description claims it is much more rigid than competing poles, it still flexes surprisingly when fully extended. Yanking on a stuck string of Christmas lights with the tip of my fully extended pole caused it to flex 6-8 feet from true (over its 30-foot span). Thankfully, the pole returned to shape and appears to be undamaged.I found that the ACME "standard" thread doesn't fit accessories from other products equally. Brushes, dusters and a high ceiling lightbulb changer that I had from elsewhere appeared to have identical threads, yet some screwed onto this pole cleanly while others didn't.Finally, it's worth noting that when I received my pole and it arrived damaged, the seller's customer service was outstanding (as other reviewers have noted). They were friendly, attentive and helpful. They quickly sent a replacement via expedited shipping and stayed in touch with me until I received it. I was impressed.Bottom line: Good pole, solidly built. Wielding it takes practice. Amazing customer service.

This an exceptional product and great value . It’s extremely light and easy to extend. I have used it to remove cobwebs very high up on my house. Even fully extended with a brush attachment there was no wobble and I was able to target and remove the webs easily. A+

I've been using this for the past few months on a number of jobs: Dusting a 25-foot ceiling, clean high windows, brushing off gutter guards, and so on. It's a huge time saver not having to get out a 20 foot ladder and risk falling down. The pole itself is very easy to use, with snaps to adjust the length and screw-on kits depending on what you're trying to do. It also seems to be made with high quality materials and is thicker and sturdier than other poles. The end gets a little wobbly when fully extended 30 feet, but slow movements help a lot (and you'll build arm strength for sure). The customer service is phenomenal. A small piece of the pole broke recently when I had it fully extended, and the company (a family run business) quickly sent me a new pole without any hesitation or delay. Would 100% recommend the product and company.

Holy cow! This thing is a beast! By that, I mean that it is very durrable and very well made. The pole seems to telescope out smoothly and stay where you put it. It is also easy to retract. I would give it a solid 5 stars across the board except for a couple very minor things. Being a woman, it is a bit heavy and clumbsy for me to use when extending it out. It's not impossible, but it is kinda heavy and I'm no wall flower either! I have cleaned my ceiling fans with the tool recomended and I was pleasntly surprised that the cleaning sleeve does come off for washing since it was unclear to me when reading the other information prior to purchas. Perhaps I just didn't see it? Anyway, it is not easy to just slip off, you kinda have to wrestle it off, but that's better than it not staying on. I had put it through the wash, along with the the window cleaning sleeve and they both came out nice and clean and didn't shrink. I did not put them in the dryer, but let them air-dry. As a minor negative for the tool for ceiling fans. Once you bend that sucker to go around your fan blade, it is rather cumbersome to get it completely flat again. After I washed the sleeve from using it on my fan blades, I wanted to give it a whirl on the walls. We have an 18' peak in the living room and a cobweb that has been bugging me, and out of reach, for over a year! LOL. It took care of it just fine as does the bristle brush, but the other fan blade tool was not laying flat which left a hump and did not clean as great without turning it over and using the other side. Not a huge problem, but just a bit of a bummer. It worked fantastic on the fan blades though! :-) That material is super absorbant and does a great job of grabbing dust if you want to use it as a hand tool. Another nice reason to buy this set is that they donate a portion of the sale to an organization called "Cleaning for a Reason". They are a non-profit that cleans cancer patients' homes. That's prety dang cool to do that.
