use this to make filters last as long as possible flip filter every other fill, use an ounce for every gallon water to preserve filter

We have hard water, and I was hoping this would help keep the filter wick from getting crusty quickly, making them last longer. Unfortunately I don't think it's had much effect.

Fast delivery, received just an hour ago. The bad: 1) One of the bottles leaked so badly instruction label was various levels of black and 2) this so-called BestAir "combo" back requires TWICE the product--two capfuls treat only one gallon whereas the sister Best Air Humidifier is twice as strong, two capfuls treats TWO gallons. Not disclosed before you buy. So even with the discount for buying three, this product costs nearly TWICE as much because product is so diluted.
