This is a great step stool! It is sturdy, folds up easily, and is pretty solid when climbing on it. Great for around the house, or in a shop, library, etc. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a little extra height.

we use this in our kitchen. its very well made and very sturdy. great for me since my size is bigger. i have a couple step ladders already and this one is good because it's right in the middle between the two i already have. great for getting to the ceiling lights or those high up cabinets above the fridge.

Very well packaged, and the locking mechanism is solid. I'm around 260 pounds and felt like it could hold me no problem. One nitpick is the plastic on the edge of the step flexes a bit, but the metal that's holding it in place is solid. It just makes you a little nervous about where you place your feet.
