This is a very versatile signaling devise. The control switches allow you to turn on the colored lamps individually, either solid or flashing. It is a 24V ac devise and a power supply transformer is included. It is well made and sturdy. It can be used for a wide variety of signaling applications. I like reliability of this unit.

I ordered this to use as an alarm on my CNC devices to let me know if there's a problem. This is the intended use of these devices. This one, however, is completely manual, so it only works with the switches. It seems that with a little modification, you could install relays, and use those the connect to your controller to send alarm signals, though. It would've been nice to just have a built in way to connect that, already. As for the functionality of the stack, it works well, and exactly as designed, so I can't mark down the rating because it doesn't do what it wasn't designed to do. Overall, I can recommend this product if you're just wanting status lights that you set manually on your equipment, or if you are skilled enough to make it controllable via microcontroller.

The mounting bracket can't be removed. The control box is massive and the switches are very hard to twist. The yellow light is really orange. It lights up well. Large enough to see from further away.

I was quite pleased with the structure of this unit, which is very well built and seems to be durable. The lights work well and are easy to see from a distance. I like that the brightness of the lights is adjustable. This unit is as the vendor described and is very easy to install and use.

This light stack works extremely well. The switch is simple to use - simply flip the switch next to the color you want on. You can have any number of lights on simultaneously. Bright enough to see from far way.

I actually got this as a decor piece for the man cave for my husband to put outside of the door as a way to say leave me alone or it is free to go. That is a joke by the way, but it is awesome for this purpose. The man cave runs into the garage and sometimes my husband is working on projects and using dangerous tools, so we installed the light with simplicity. He is very happy, and I am too.
