Applications

Wood to Concrete

Fastening Wood to Concrete

Fasten in concrete with 3" spacing between fastenings and edges. Penetrate 1" into concrete, with a thickness 3 times the penetration depth.

Wood to Steel

Fastening Wood to Steel

Fasten into steel, use a minimum 1-1/2" spacing and be 1/2" from edges. Length should fully penetrate for maximum hold. Steel 3/16"-5/16" thick.

Metal to Concrete

Thin Metal to Concrete/Masonry

For concrete: 3" spacing, 3" from edge, 1" penetration. Concrete should be 3 times penetration depth. In masonry, use horizontal joints.

Steel to Steel

Fastening Steel to Steel

Fastening into steel: 1-1/2" spacing, 1/2" from edge. Fastener should penetrate completely. Steel thickness 3/16" to 5/16".

Never did figure out what the FVSCM meant, or why use them vs the regular Nails!!! But they went in the slab so I guess they work!!!

These work well with very few quality issues. The only problem I've noticed is the washer is a little larger than the brand I usually get. Not an issue if you're just nailing boxes to a block wall, but the diameter of the washer makes it impossible to anchor 1/2 EMT 1-Hole straps as they simply won't fit between the hole and the conduit. 3/4" and larger works fine.
