From a materials standpoint in relation to what it replaced - it is a much lighter gauge of metal. So far, all is working and it heats FAST!. Maybe I should give it a FIVE STAR but that is difficult knowing the materials and construction is vastly "lighter" in gauge and sturdiness . My hope is that it gives me several years of service. NOTE: the holes where the heater head mounted to my existing patio heater mount pole did not align as the head mount was too shallow to allow the pipe to slide far enough down to bolt together. I had to "modify" my pole to make work. Just an FYI.

It is a nice looking unit, that being said it didn't work right out of the box. it would light but would not stay lit. fond out it was a junk tip over switch. removed switch from my old one and replaced it. works fine now to bad i had to do a repair before I could even use it. Also had to replace 8 screws that where striped out NOW IT WORKS AS IT SHOULD, if you're not a repair man this unit is NOT for you!

This worked perfectly. Actually better than the original. Was half the price of buying the whole thing and not more work since new ones have to be put together anyway. Liked so much I bought another one after.Better flame overall. Easier electronic lighting. No pilot.
