Can you say H E A V Y duty? This 3 Point Quick Hitch Adapter for Tractors (or lawnmowers as is my case) is much larger than what I needed it for. My tractor driving husband may come and sneak off with it when I'm not looking. I wish I could say more (or anything really) about this adapter, but my knowledge is very limited when it comes to "implements".

This is a Category I hitch adapter that has some flexibility in moving. I installed in about 2 minutes but wasn't able to adjust my bar at the time because I didn't have a wrench to loosen up the nut on the adjuster. I forgot to bring it and the weather was blowing back in.. Still shouldn't take that long to do.My adjuster bar is run out to almost it's full length and this will allow me bring it back in where I'll feel better about it. So if your adjuster is almost at it's limit, this will take care of that issue.This hitch will move more freely when I'm mowing and allow better mow coverage around dips and small hills.One thing to remember though is that if you need to have down pressure (like a box blade) then this will interfere with putting pressure on it with the top link. Otherwise, it's good to use on mowers and such.It goes along with my lower quick hitch adapters and will make connection chores much easier.I do recommend this.

You SHOULD be skeptical about all of the 5 star reviews for this product that claim this is made from high quality steel as if they ran a bunch of metallurgy experiments in a lab. You should also be ESPECIALLY critical of reviewers that NEVER give less than 5 star reviews.I'm not going to blow smoke and play that game.That being said, this extender worked for me.The fit was fine. The welds and powder coating looks decent, and pins were included.My advice is to choose a cheaper model but be sure to get the extra mounting holes for a little extra adjustment. One star deduction for being slightly higher priced. I would give it 5 stars at a price point $25 or below.

I got this to allow me to tow things with my tractor if needed. It's heavy duty which I like, but the build quality isn't the best, the two tines on the fork side aren't straight or parallel so it'll take some cleanup before I can really use it. The manufacturing could be improved to prevent something like that.

I have some older 3pt tractor attachments that do not fit my quick hitch attachment frame as they were made before any standards for Quick Hitch use.This adapter basically allows the top point of the three point attachment to float somewhat to be able to hit the top hook on the quick hitch. The other thing it can be used for is that it gives a top joint that can 'flex' in if needed. For example on a brush mower going up a hill the back would want to 'tilt' up that this extra link does that.This adapter seem made well with thick solid steel and the pin looks good and has an adapter sleeve to use with the different classes of hook on your quickhitch.The only potential problem is if this adds too much length to the top link. It has some adjustment with a second set of holes, but will know more when the weather breaks. There is room to drill some extra holes if needed.
