I really like the way this purse hook works but it is very big and heavy in my purse. For that reason I can't give it 5 stars. If you carry a large bag it would be better but I use a small one. It fell out and I was surprised at the clatter it made because of the weight. But it does the job!

This is a set of interestingly designed under table hooks, much better than the ones which require assembly and adjusting using screws. These are just a flat metal piece in a half circle shape, and seem strong enough to hold plenty or weight. Only thing is the opening of the hook is 2.5" and it also needs to slide in a full 2.5" to be stable, so the table top can't be thicker than that - some tables are constructed with a support underneath the top which would prevent the hook to attach properly. However hopefully most restaurants tables and bar counters should not have that problem (never actually paid much attention before but now will have to). The hooks also have a hole on the upper part so you can slide a cord through for easy carrying (and attach to your purse or pack so you don't leave it behind!).
