Runs on the small side.Easy to take off when needed.The shorts are comfortable and the velcro is barely noticeable when wearing. The material is pretty thin. I think the biggest challenge is really the size. I would say slide the scale up 6 inches... that is to say if you need a 40, think on the size chart 46.

So I think these area great idea and would work and thought it was Chinese sizing like 4XL would be ok maybe little big but honestly for the person they were for thinking for the need usually have to size up at times ya these might be a 4XL for teens like I honestly don't think they would fit anyone over maybe 38-40in which if your buying for IC reason would size with thickest product worn and prob smaller waist size. Also why i feel like they are more for teens, skinnier and shorter people or smaller adults as they would be like daisy dukes as the length super short. We liked the idea as it would make changes, dressing easier but definitely not a 4xl for adults so wouldn't recommend even in the description it only has size up to 3xl which they put at 44in. Though the velcro seems sturdy and be easier for those with dexterity issues from experience I would wear velcro type closures outside the home or in public we have PCA's who strongly recommend against hook n loop, either heavy duty snaps or zippers.

These Post Surgery Shorts are well made and easy to use. Being able to open up while in a laying position makes it easy for your care giver if needed. They are very comfy to wear and they look nice on.

These are about what I would expect for post-surgery hospital wear. Not the most comfortable but nicely made. They are true to size which is ... different because I'm accustomed to an American large being loose and actually fitting like an XL. These are large and fit exactly like that.They DO tear away, just as advertised. Which is a nice feature my wife has overly enjoyed ... but I ain't complaining.

I’m very disappointed. I ordered these because both my adult daughter and husband are having hip surgery. I previously ordered a set of men’s small (from a different brand) but they only came in a single pack. When I saw this 3-pack, I was excited and ordered them in a men’s large thinking they’d be. Pre versatile for BOTH my husband and daughter. However, these came and they are incredibly small! All 3 pairs.I checked to be sure I really did order a large (I did) and I also checked the tags thinking maybe the wrong size was sent (it wasn’t). The photos show the pair from this order in grey on top of the men’s small I previously ordered from a different brand. These would hardly fit a child! As there is no adult I know that could fit these, I will be sending them back.That said, the material was good and they seemed to be well made. Note that the cut is not really like a short - it’s more like a boxer/underwear. This isn’t something that someone might feel comfortable wearing out (to physical therapy, for example) because they look more like underwear.

The size for these is definitely inflated, this is nothing near a 4x. Disappointing :(

I bought the 4XL size for an adult. They size is for a skinny child. Had to return.
