I find the container is great for storing the various blades for my electric hand saw that I use in my yard work. I just had to cut more slots in the foam to protect the cutting ends for the number of blades I own. The length of the case is long enough to accommodate the length of the longest blade but is too long to fit into the storage bag of saw. Since I received three cases I gave my brother-in-law one to store the various saw blades in his tools bag which worked great for him.

If you were going to use these for paint brushes the foam came mangled like other reviews state. They were the perfect size for storing collectable Xbox 360 faceplates. I used my own replacement foam.

I ordered a class set not expecting to have a DIY project on my hands.The foam pads were not glued into the boxes, as shown in the product pictures. Adhesive was NOT included with the purchase. After several hours, the foam pads did not regain their shape and do not look like they will in the future.Buy this if only if you have the correct adhesive to attach foam to plastic and have the time and inclination to do so.DIY brush storage box.

I purchased a set of these for traveling with watercolor brushes. They were a bit larger than I would have liked, but the deal breaker was that they arrived without the spongy insert piece... so I sent them back. Many thanks to Amazon for a solid return experience, however.
