Nice quality clamp and clip set. I like the 3 piece variety. I was a little concerned that some of the tools looked partially polished while other parts had what looked like anodizing. I do think it was intentional now. The case is basic and has an outer pocket which is good to put clips in. The pliers all work pretty well for their intended use. I use them for hose clamps the most by far. Overall, I like them.

These are some great specialty tools to help you get the job done right. They are pretty sturdy and the grips are good.

This is one of those tool sets. It’s kind of an oddball set. It’s the kind that you’re not sure how useful it’s gonna be until you get it and find out.It has definitely demonstrated usefulness that I wasn’t aware of. And some of the capabilities it has were not known to me or something that I conceived ofuntil I ran into the very areas where I could use it.In the automotive industry in particular there are so many types of electrical connectors. Often, they are in very difficult places to reach even. Which can make some of the electrical work done on a car extremely difficult simply because of the diverse types of connectors and their location.This tool set really has some interesting shape shapes on each one which doesn’t reveal its usefulness and tell you actually get into a confined area trying to disconnect a specific electrical connector type. That is when I found usefulness of each of these.Overall, there’s not much else to say other than the set really has come in handy, and I really have found it not going to be useful but needed in several cases.

I’ve used this set for some stubborn plug connectors recently and I can definitely see the usefulness these provide. They aren’t the best quality tools, but definitely work. Easy to use and can remove connectors fairly easily as well. They just won’t work for all of them just some.

I've been doing a lot of automotive repairs and maintenance lately and the promise of easily separating electrical connectors was mighty tempting. It seems like they never use the same connector twice and when they start getting as old as mine are and enduring many heat cycles you don't get too many chances to guess incorrectly on which way the connector operates. Far too often one wrong attempt is enough to cause the plastic to crack or break. Some fittings are easy to see and reach and have no problem coming apart, while others are like Rubik's Cube, blindfolded. Maybe you can see it but not reach it easily or maybe you can reach it, but not see it, using your hands as your eyes. Now you need to identify how it's locked together, wether it's a tab you push or pull or two tabs. So you push or pull and now you need to tug on both sides of the connector. So when someone offered to provide a solution, I jumped at the opportunity, but I have yet to find a fitting that these have helped with. I've used them as pliers and the unique jaw structure of each of these makes them perfect for certain situations, but as far as electrical connectors I'm not sure these were ever intended for the task. I'll keep trying, but I only have two makes of cars at my disposal and these aren't the right ones.

These are sold as “electrical disconnect pliers” but only one of them is actually designed to primarily do anything electrical, with the other two being designed for hose clamps. Not a huge deal for me, they are super useful, it is just weird that they are marketed that way. Anyhow, they are decent pliers that will be nice to have in my toolbox.
