I've working in a bio lab for a number of years and have used similar spatulas to these ones. The main differences between these are spatulas I have used in the past is that these have more of a flat profile and aren't quite as long as I would like them to be. They are also thinner than others I have used. These definitely feel like a cheaper version of your standard lab spatula. Yes they work, but don't plan on doing any prying with these. The flatter profile also makes them less ergonomic and comfortable in the hand. They aren't quite as good as other spatulas I use.Overall, these spatulas aren't a bad deal. They are very affordable, especially compared to similar products from scientific vendors. Unfortunately, they are slightly worse in just about every way compared to other spatulas I have used. Yes, they do work and are completely usable, but the design consideration and quality just isn't there.

I was doing some DIY projects where I needed to do very gently drop powder over some wet glue without disturbing the glue or getting clumps in it so that the final result once the glue set still looked presentable. Initially I had tried some very small shallow spoons thinking that would give me the fine precise control I was looking for. And it just didn't work. They held too little and the shallow and slightly rough sides meant the powder flow tended to be nothing or all of it.After getting these and trying them, I see what a difference a properly designed and purpose built item can make. Although I worried that the relatively large size might make it hard to dispense small amounts evenly, I found using my finger to tap the other hand holding the spatula worked as a pretty fine control. The only minor flaw was that the powder sometimes went off the sides instead of the tip but that's nitpicking it against an ideal item. The other ones I tried were much worse. I may try to bend these around a smaller rod to get the curve on them a bit tighter to direct it to the tip. But even when it goes off the side near the tip, it's still a nice fine controllable amount. Just not exactly where I want it. But that doesn't adversely affect my project use, just try again for the spot I missed or sweep off the excess that landed on an area already covered once the glue dries. I'm glad these showed up in my recommendations.
