Printed both sides. Paper is acid free with an ultra smooth writing surface. Ink does not bleed through. Perfect for calligraphy practice or ink sketching. Paper made from FSC certified forests.

This is not some thin, lightweight paper. It is nicely sturdy and withstands heavy writing pressure well.

I absolutely love these pads. High quality printing and padding, the paper is nice and thick, printed on both sides, ink doesn't go through. At a fantastic price too! So happy I found these, will be ordering again.

One previous review mentioned that the cardboard backing was thick but that's not true. It bends easily and is quite weak. The paper quality is excellent though, no bleed through using a discontinued Sharpie Steel pen. The graph lines are not perfectly centered on the sheet so if you suffer from OCD keep that in mind. Also, the pages are meant to be torn off as used and not kept attached to the pad.

These pads have graph lines and the sheets are just a little heavier paper than normal so they rarely bleed through when using ink or sharpies. If I set the sharpie point down on the paper and hold it there while adjusting a straight edge or just thinking of sizes or the like, it may bleed through then but just a point. Drawing lines and writing it usually doesn"t. This is great for me so I can use both sides for my project designs. Draw the project in scale on 1 side and do a materials list and a sheet cut layout on the other side. Very convienient.

Nice thick and smooth paper. I use my ink fountain pens and the ink did not bleed. I wish the binding is more durable. I fix a tape on the end to keep the pages more secure. I wish they had a legal size pad with graph squares.I am a repeat buyer.Recommendation -- Buy without reservation.

I enjoy using stationary and this notepad is the best I've ever owned and used. It doesn't bleed when I write with several brands of gel ink pens, the paper is thick and smooth and dare I say, a joy to write on. The size is just right for my needs and I can't say enough good things about this. Please re-categorize these and make them available on Prime again. Thank you!

Will work great for making field notes on a small (6x9") clipboard. Smooth, good quality heavy paper, durable enough for the field.[Between arthritis and carpal tunnel, got too hard to hold a full size clipboard all day, so a 6 x 9" with this 5 x 8" notepad of graph paper is perfect]
