I was happy to receive my three measuring tapes. Tey are of good quality and quite accurate. I use them around the house and garage. Yhese are much easier to use than the metal measuring 'tapes' often used in carpentry. I still maintain several of the metal tapes and yard sticks.

I love the big numbers on these for my old eyes! Very nice tape, easy to use. And since I always seem to lose one, it's nice to have 3!

I bought a 6-pack of these tapes to replace one that someone "borrowed" and never returned. I figured that while I was at it, I could use a couple more around the house so 6 of them made sense.I find that, for a lot of the casual measurements I make around the house, a soft tape is more convenient than a measuring tape. I can go around corners or radii easier and I can throw it in a pocket instead of clipping it to my belt. Don't get my wrong, sometimes an actual measuring tape is the right tool for the job, but other times one of these is quicker and easier.So I have one in the kitchen junk drawer, another bundled with my sewing machine (I'm no tailor but I can fix clothes or bags if I need to), and a couple more stashed throughout the house. I'm thinking about throwing one in the glove compartment of my car for those impromptu hardware store runs, and maybe another in my work bag.I read in another review that the brass ferrule on the end of the measuring tape is not crimped on in the correct spot, which leads to a measurement error of 1/16". I didn't check mine but I got in the habit long ago of starting measurements from the 1" mark. Then I deduct an inch from the final measurement. That way I don't get a bad reading if the ferrule is bent or damaged. Seems to work fine.
