I bought this because the filters in our humidifiers were getting crusty and dry in just a couple of days when they are supposed to last a month. The description on the faucet filter said it removed hard water minerals. I don't think it did, or at least it didn't make any difference with the humidifiers. It DID help the water taste a little better, but we already use a Brita pitcher for that. I found that just the motion of rotating the sprayer part was enough to loosen it, causing it to leak at each connection (3 areas). And as others have said, it's plastic made to look like chrome and I wouldn't expect it to hold up very long. It's always on "spray", you can't get just a regular stream of water. Although some people said they liked the added pressure, at my house the pressure was much better without this attachment. It also hung down from the faucet far enough that it was difficult to rinse dishes, fill pitchers, etc. I ended up returning it after fussing with it for about a week.

Assembly was easy. The flow from the faucet after putting this on was great. I am assuming that the filter is working. We just put it on so it’s hard to rate right now. You can see the filter turn darker apparently as it cleans the water. The filter is visible without having to take it apart. Spare filters also came with it, which is very handy.

The entire filter build is plastic, the plastic that houses the mineral filter contains PFAS which could end up in your water, there is NO BALL in the filter as advertised, the black o-ring is coated in something that initially turns the water black, and there is no way this filter pulls out anything that is promised in the description. The filter adds 2 inches onto any faucet so having a faucet that is either high above the sink, or having a deep sink would be ideal. I'm sorry but this filter might be a health hazard.

I got tired of bottle water so I got this filter to drink sink water an I'm so glad I did!! This thing is so cool! When I disconnected my old sink head there was freaking black stuff coming out 🤢 thank God I decided to get this cause I would have never known that!! It's the coolest filter I've ever seen! Don't think twice just grab it!! The price is crazy good for what you get in the package 💝
