The new corkscrew was easy & simple to replace. I was ready to purchase a whole new wine opener, then decided to purchase just the screw piece. So glad I did!! My opener works with ease, just like it did when I first bought it! Highly recommend!

My old corckscrews had a bad habit of pushing the cork through the bottle. Through research, I learned it was probably due to the spiral having worn out. So I decided to purchase this replacement pack of 3 to see if changing out the spirals made a difference. Sure enough, after replacing spirals in two of my corkscrews that were not working well, I have had zero issues with a cork being pushed through.It seems like you should replace your spirals every year or so if you are opening a lot of bottles. If you ever find your corckscrew pushing through a cork, you know it's time to place the spiral!

Added a new corkscrew and sprayed the mechanism with some dry lubricant and the Brookstone wine opener is like new again. Gets a lot of use.
