I really like the "seeded" design, it gives the plain glass globe a much more upscale look and the smoke tinted glass match the black lighting fixture nicely, much better than clear or even amber glass. They are pretty well packed in pre-formed Styrofoam and was double boxed so they arrived safely via Amazon delivery, but not sure if it can survive FedEx, as Amazon tend to be much more gentle with packages in my area.They fit the regular E26 fixtures perfectly with the existing collar, no extra fiddling needed. There really is nothing bad about these shades except for the price, at over $27 a globe and $83 for 3, this is quite expensive for a piece of glass, especially when many competitors are selling same sized globes in different colors and designs for around $15 to $20 a piece, albeit none has the "seeded" design. So at the end, I think the premium price may be justified if you have your heart set on the "seeded" design.

I bought these lovely glass globes to replace some hideous opaque white ones I have on a lamp currently. They came in superb protective packaging, having suffered no damage in the least. I love the subtle sepia tone of the bubbled glass. They are just perfect.

They come packaged well in foam and include cotton gloves for handling them. The glass is of a decent thickness. They fit without any issues on E26 sockets, just as advertised. I also like how wide the openings at the bottom are for changing out lightbulbs. While there are slight differences between each globe, they are minor and they look really nice together. The glass has a coating which makes it extra shiny in a slightly iridescent way. The amber color provides a lovely effect. It focuses the light downwards while gently softening it everywhere else.
