Says it will fit a child from 2-8, but it is WAY too small for an average 6 year old. Waist measures less than 8 inches across, which equates to a circumference of 15" unstretched and about 24" fully extented. Per Carter's sizing charts a 2T has a 21" waist, so I guess it would fit a 2 year old! However for an average 6 year old (size 6-6x, waist size 23") this will be too tight. Hope these measurements help someone!
