This is the only letter style I really use on things, so I finally decided to get real set of stencils for it when I had the chance. As long as I don't lose any, it'll certainly last me for the duration. Nice set.

These are great stencils that will get you thru lots of projects.They are made of a nice heavy, but not too heavy; stiff, but not too stiff plastic that will work well for a multitude of projects.I used one of the numbers to repaint a house number and others to create a hopscotch.They hold up well and can pretty easily be washed.The price for these is great given you are getting 10 numbers, 26 letters, and a handful of symbols.I am super pleased with these.

This is a set of 42, 4" letter and number Stencils. These are made out of a black flexible plastic material and seem very rugged. They do not have a way to lock the letters together as I have seen on other sets. They also do not have a storage box or a hole to allow threading a loop through the set to keep them together. Otherwise they should perform their function well, and be reusable many times. They are offered at a reasonable price. Made in China.

So the material they are made of is not cardboard - Yeah! But it's not a thick plastic either. It is a vinyl/plastic material though - which should cleanup fine in simple use cases like chalk, pencils, waterbased paint, etc. I don't think you are going to clean off spray paint/etc that easily without some effort & time insuring you dont damage the card because it's rather thin. So it's all about what you plan to use it for, and if you plan to try and keep them super clean, etc. For me, they work, and the thickness is a non issue. However, what is an issue is that the stencil itself is 4" but the letters/numbers/characters are only 3" tall. I thought I would be getting letters that were 4" tall since this is a 4" stencil.

Size wise these are ok, but quality of material wise… idk… I had hoped they would be a stronger plastic, similar to a credit card, but these are definitely flimsier. They’re flimsier than most take out containers tbh, it honestly feels kinda like slightly slicker card stock than something you would trust to last a beating. (And believe me if you have stencils you’ll want them to take a beating bc acrylic paints are no joke)I feel like you’d get one or two uses out of these at best?You get what you pay for… these are cheap as heck so don’t expect much.
