Received today! The hubs wasn’t too excited I order some premade, as he keeps saying he is going to make our own. It’s been a couple years & he has yet to do so. We r hvn a get together this wknd & these arrived today perfectly! Very well made & looking forward to many days of playing! Thank you for your honest work!!!

The boards are well built. I would give this all 5 stars but the boards did not come with the washers like it stated it would in one of the questions answered by the maker. Also, in the main picture there’s that piece of what paper (I imagine the paper are the rules and how to play instructions) that was not included with my board. I know I can go and find the rules and stuff online and print it off but I believe that what is pictured should come with the product. Can’t wait to play this with my friends!!

The product needs to confirm that there are specific sizes certain people/area live in desire - we are used to playing 3 1/2 washer size upposed to the ‘travel size’ purchased

My family and I would highly recommend purchasing this for hours of fun.5 stars due to the high quality and portability of the board. If you'd like a washers game to last a lifetime look no further. Sure, the games you purchase at big box are very cheap at $20 but the old adage "you get what you pay for" surely applies here.My 2 recommendations as already mentioned would be 1) a rope between the 2 platforms to ensure proper length 8 or 10 feet and 2) ability to store the washers in 1 of the platforms.

My son wanted a washer game for his birthday to take camping. I looked at a lot of games, mostly pre-fab/packaged, and then I saw this. Handmade! Well, needless to say I was intrigued. I read through the reviews and was sold.On top of the amazing customer service from the seller and super fast shipping - this is exactly what I was looking for.Incredibly well made, light & portable and worth every penny!Some reviewers have complained about the cups not having anything to catch the washers - really? Do not let that stop you from purchasing this - it is the best thing I found available other than making it yourself.Forget about taking it camping - we have been playing almost everyday!

This is my first review on Amazon. Since it is peoples nature to complain vs complimenting I figured I would write a review for a product worth praise.Assuming others scan reviews the way that I do, here is a pros vs cons list...Pros:1. Quality built. Sturdy construction and carpet covering was done well.2. Tubes in holes. This is a nice touch and really helps for retrieving washers.3. Built in rope handles. These make for easy carrying.4. Game rules. Were straight forward conclusive with examples.5. Excellent processing and shipping time. Customer service here was top notch.Cons:1. Lack of measuring rope. This would allow easy setup of proper distance.2. No washer storage. It would be nice to have a convenient spot to keep washers when not playing.Cons explained:I didn't deduct a star for the cons as they are really only there because I don't like seeing reviews where people say "Cons: NONE". Those reviews are suspect to me. There is ALWAYS something that could be better. If I was my own devil's advocate here I would say that a built-in measuring rope would make the game more of a hassle to store and manuever; while a included rope would be one more thing to misplace or lose. As far as a place to store the washers, I'm not sure of the best way to accomplish this but I believe there is some opportunity to store them on the underside of one of the boards.Customer service:I had read through the reviews prior to purchasing and the favorable shipping time was a big factor for me because I had a pending camping date. I placed my order on Friday July 5th 2013 with expedited shipping and to my surprise received a personal response the same day which included the tracking number. I replied with concerns of receiving prior to my camping trip and again received another personal reply. I received the shipment exactly when quoted and just in time on Friday July 12th 2013.I absolutely recommend this product as well as doing business with Ohio Washer Games.

My husband had built a Washers game many years ago. He promised to build another one, but it never made his to-do list. So I ordered this, hoping it would pass inspection. It did. My husband was impressed by how solid this was, and the carpeting on top is tight and smooth. The only thing he added is a couple of hooks on the inside edge on the bottom of each board. We can then attach a 10 foot cord/rope to each board, so you know it is always placed 10 feet apart and is straight.We took this camping and had a great time!

I looked at several different washers games and I purchased this one. I am very pleased with the build quality, price, and fast shipping. Its nice that game instructions are included.I am not a washers expert, but it would be nice to have some sort of netting or pocket for the washers to fall in. I looked into billiard nets, but they were pretty expensive. I purchased a canvas drop cloth, cut it to size, and stapled it to the wood. That way the washers don't fall on the ground.I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a washers game.
