I wanted a pillar candle for my large chamberstick but I didn't want it to be too tall (when lit the flame should be centered in the chimney bulge). These candles fit the bill perfectly. I haven't burned them yet but I'll update my review with a report next time the power goes out.

I can't believe how much candles sell for! WAX is CHEAP! Right????I bought these on sale for $9.99 for the eight pack...I have lanterns in front of my house I like to use cheap unscented candles in...and $10 for 8...works for me! I will need to measure them but some people say they are not 2X4? I am a guy...so i am not the right person to ask on measuring anything! ;-)But they seem to be that size?We had to put our cat Modee down and I thought lighting candles for her was appropriate...So I put one in each lantern...Well...roughly 20 hours later...ONE CANDLE IS STILL BURNING and the other is out! They SEEM "dripless"? But I am burning in OUTDOOR fixtures in the winter when it's COLD (10-20 deg) out!I do NOT like to buy from China unless I must and these are from China...and I am not 100% sure I would burn these inside...but for my outdoor lanterns...they work GREAT!!!!Why 4 stars? Made in China....and still $10 for candles still seems high! Make it $1 a candle and you get 5 stars!!!

With extreme cold weather we make ice candles in buckets and need candles this size to burn in them. We get a couple evenings out of each pair. Burn and look nice.

Purchased these for our candle painting night and when I got them I realized they were way smaller than I imagined (my fault!), and also that they had been melted in transit. There were drips down the side, the sides of the candles touching the box were flat and crinkled from the wrapper. It made the product unusable. I was able to get a refund, but didn't have time to get a replacement before my event.

We used these for one evening and they completely destroyed the candelabras my mother in law just gave us. The third bullet point of the description says drip less. Totally false. See photo… buy at your own risk. Candelabras were located in a fireplace inset totally protected from wind.
