Why did you pick this product vs others?:After the last stool we had broke one day we were looking for an upgrade and specifically one with more support stood out. It was great and really helps reaching to the back of the shelf. The fact the rail can be on either side is really great given we unfortunately have on lefty in the family.Stability:This is much more stable then the previous stools we have used. Really an improvement, and the ability transfer the rail has really been helpful.

This sturdy 2 tier step stool makes it easy and safe to climb up to get in bed, reach a shelf, sink or table. The steel frame and heavy particle board provide stability for up to 500lbs. The handle is adjustable, so you can make it just the height that you need, and it is padded for comfort. There are nonslip, adhesive strips on the steps ensuring that your feet don't slide off. This was the perfect solution for my daughter, who can't reach her clothes in the closet. I didn't want her climbing on a vanity stool or spinning desk chair to reach her things. Now, I know that she can safely reach her toys, her clothes and the sink too! This is quite heavy and doesn't fold up, so it isn't easily portable. I love being able to get items than I can't reach without calling for my husband! We use this every day in one way or another. This is a super nice quality step stool that is well worth the price. It was relatively easy to assemble using the provided instructions and tools and took me about 20 min. to complete.

This step stool is perfect for providing extra height and stability! The adjustable handrails offer additional support. We're using it for our attic, as the door is a little up off the ground and we basically have to jump out of it! The non-skid platform ensures safety, and the sturdy design works great for reaching higher places around the house.

Is good for what was intended to use.Kitchen and other areas to have access to kitchen cabinets.It could have been better quality it was hand tightened and still went a bit to far and seem to bend in some areas during the install.It is stable and feels safe.

My wife was needing a step stool for around the house and I like that this one is stable and includes a handle to help assure balance. It was well packed and all components were labeled except for the wooden pieces. It only required an (included) hex wrench for assembly. The instructions are fairly well done and easy to follow. I assembled it only with the provided tool in about 20 minutes. It works well for her to reach things in the upper cabinets or top shelf of the closets. It is lightweight enough to easily move around but heavy enough to feel stable. The side legs (they almost make me think of outriggers) provide additional stability.It also looks nice and fits into most any decor.

This is a nice piece. It's sturdy, it looks classy, and it's relatively easy to put together. All the pieces are labeled and the diagrams are clear. The height of the railing is adjustable.A few reservations:-- The railing can be attached to either side, but the instructions don't make note of that. You just have to figure it out yourself, so I'm telling you. :-)-- The wooden step pieces are NOT the same. They are not labeled, but one of them works on the top and the bottom step, but one of them only works on the top. Just make sure you figure out which is which before you start putting in screws and save yourself some time.-- The padding for the railing is just a piece of foam pipe insulation and it is not very attractive (mine has printing on it).If you're okay with those things, then this would be a great piece for you!
