I ordered these to clean up some of my boat add on electrical items like the stereo, depth finder, etc. Adding disconnects will help to allow me to remove and fix various electronics. I show one of these connectors I used to create a wiring harness for the new daytime running lights in my truck (see photo).The connectors are sized well so I can snap and unsnap them manually where I often need a screwdriver to do others.

These Deutsch connectors are very nice! Deutsch connectors are most prevalent in heavy equipment and trucks. Once you have used Deutsch connectors everything else seems cumbersome. Try these connectors! You'll be so happy you did!

Could be a five star product, but, I have handled many of these, and the plastic/seals on this appear to be a cheaper material. There are flaws around the locking tabs, not rough enough to prevent operation, but they are there. The mold these came from has probably seen some use.. The included pre-terminated wires are decent quality, nothing to shout about, but good enough. The terminations are machine quality, and I didn't find any bad crimps. I used my own wire/pins just for a cleaner install. The deutsch pins I crimped myself, fit just like the original provided pins, meaning this connector either complies with the specification, or is close enough for everything but aircraft use..At three dollars fifty cents a connector, not a bad deal at all.

I got this product for free, the following is my honest and unbiased review.I got these Deutsch DT 8-pin weatherproof electrical connectors for a future project on my car. The connectors are very well made, and are keyed to prevent an incorrect connection. The wires are all pre-stripped. The connectors have a positive lock that closes with a satisfying "click". You get 2 sets of connectors, however the price is a bit high compared to other similar products.

You get five sets of 4 pin, IP67 waterproof, electrical connector. Each has four wires of 16 AWG. You get both the male and female sides of the connectors. The wires are rated for 15 amps or 160 watts max. These are good connectors for automotive use where your connector might encounter some water.

These are decent waterproof connectors. I used these on a recent light installation on a golf cart. The rubber seal likes to slide out a bit when disconnecting and feels like it binds just a little when connecting them. A dab of dielectric grease helps waterproof and lube the seal to prevent those problems.
