After reading the description, I was not really sure what size brush I was going to receive. I was relieved to receive the 4” x 5.91” as pictured in the second image (The item description indicates there is no choice on the exact size of carder you are purchasing). The head of the brush is 4” x 2”.On the items we received several of the metal pins were bent or crooked, and not very evenly spaced. There are safety tips on each pin.The bamboo carders have comfortable handles and the wood seems to be decent quality.They are perfect for blending small amounts wool for small project.

These are fantastic brushes for short haired cats. I was able to brush my cat's fur gently but deeply enough to remove a lot of shed undercoat. My cat doesn't tolerate brushing well but he allowed me to do quite a bit with this brush set. I emptied the brushes 4 times before he protested further brushing. That's really good for this particular cat.I really like these brushes for my cat and would recommend them for other short haired cats. The handles are comfortably shaped and the brushes feel very well made.
