I hesitantly bought these but they were actually really good quality for my 06 ford ranger, even with all the weight I have in the bed they still hold up good

I put these on a 97 ranger.Grind down the rivet on the outside up to the frame. Drill the rest of the rivet head off. Punch the rest through with an air hammer. Bolt the new one on. Easy. Done with 50$ of harbor freight tools. Save hundreds compared to garage. If you have an air compressor. If you don't. Buy one. You'll always use it. It's worth having one. Buy it second hand. New air compressor is dumb. Save hundreds, buy used. The part it's self is made from steel and cheap and better than the broken rusted one you currently have
