Nice hardware that offers a great simple way to fix older toilet water tank mounting hardware. I used this kit to quickly replace the previous hardware that was rusting and creating a small slow leak from my toilet tank. The fitment was perfect, and the gaskets/rubber washers that cover the inside of the tank and the outside of the tank were perfect for sealing securely and ensuring that no water seeps out.

I got this because of the shape of the top rubber piece. Always disliked how usually it’s just a flat rubber washer. I also thought stainless would be stronger than brass.I’m sure it was my fault, but it’s metric. The bolt diameter is 6mm, slightly less than 1/4” and the common bowl to tank bolts are 5/16”I’m sure it’s strong enough to hold the tank. My other concern is the flat washer for under the tank fits very loosely on the bolt.It’s working with no leaks and I’m going to leave it but wish the flat washer fit more snugly on the bolt.
