The thread of the grinder is 5/8 -11. That was supposed to be the interface for the attachment. The quality control on these threads is non existent. They are totally useless as advertised.

This set of 2 burr spheres unfortunately are deemed usable for they're threaded incorrectly and will require and adapter in which I do not own but I've used burr spheres before and what I received seems to be of fair quality. They're a budget burr sphere; entry level with no advanced features. They're a design of yesteryears and are heavy unlike higher end ones that don't need the weight to be effective.If threaded correctly these would be ideal for someone who's new to wood carving, someone looking to carve a bowl for the first time but isn't sure they'll love the experience and don't want to spend $100+for a high end one.

It does not fit. Many of these such attachements on here for a 5/8" arbor do not fit.

This do not fit on my SAE grinder with a 5/8-11 thread. They are in fact 14mm thread and cannot be used on my grinder. The description says these are 5/8-11 but they are not. There is a bit of weight to these and if they did fit on my grinder I would be very careful using them as there is no way to have any kind of guard since they are so deep. I have no way to check the sharpness or whether there is any vibration since they do not fit on my grinder. I had hoped to use these for wood carving. I gave these 1 star since the listing is clearly wrong!
