I've washed shoes several times, usually just throwing them into a pillowcase. Results are usually okay but not amazing, so I had a pretty good idea of what the expect from this and hoped it would be a slight improvement. If nothing else, I appreciate how easy these are to use. The bags are a nice big capacity (I wear an 11.5 and my tennis shoes fit with room to spare) and have a little cover to help keep the zipper from getting pulled open. Otherwise, just toss them in and go - we usually include them with some towels or other bulky items to help when banging around in the dryer.As far as results, I'm mildly impressed. The shoes were not spotless, but I intentionally tried a pair of my grungiest shoes and there is a noticeable improvement. I was sad to see, however, that that bags did leave blue fuzz on my shoes so I had to spend some time trying to get that off with tape. I would suggest washing the bags inside out before using them for shoes to help get rid of any little fuzz.I was also amused and a little taken aback by the packaging, which titled this product "Lazy people wash shoe bags" :)Overall, happy with this as long as I can get rid of the blue fuzz in future washings. If this continues to be an issue I'll update this review and probably drop it down a star or two.
