The best I can say is that these meet standards. Since they are made of 304 stainless steel, they can be used indoors or outdoors.

These have ordinary rolled threads. They are wood screws, not self-tapping screws. The threads are somewhat shallow compared to the diameter, so if you try to use them without pilot holes you will get poor results. A 3/8" drill bit is good for the pilot hole. Install the screw at least 3" deep to achieve maximum load capacity.

If you've ever seen an eyelet bolt before then you can expect these to look and feel like any other you've seen. They all seem identical to me. They all do the job they're designed to do without issue. I've never had a problem with one and I don't expect to with these either. I don't know how we'd hang our houseplants without them.

These are exactly what one would hope for, sturdy eye bolts. I got the M8-4" and they are up to spec, with good fit and finish. They are certainly every bit as good as similar eye bolts I've purchased from a hardware store (3/8" diameter in that case, which is very close to M8 size). No complaints.

I got these eye bolts through Vine and they're working perfectly as an attachment point for weighing my bee hives. Yeah, it's a little overkill…they don't even flex a little. The listing is a little confusing, mentioning M8 (metric) and #8, which is a much smaller diameter…these are 8mm.

They work, they feel sturdy (at least as sturdy as that size bolt can feel), and the threads are decently sharp. If I had one complaint, it's that the box is so generic I had to read the Amazon barcode label to figure out what I'd received.

I ordered these eye bolts to use to secure hanging potted plants on a back porch and they work excellent for my application. I really like the eye bolts have a 500 lbs rating providing more than enough strength to handle the weight of my plants and the stress added by wind and storms. The eye bolts are made of stainless steel which not only looks good but resist corrosion in outdoor applications. The description says the eye bolts are self tapping but I always drill a pilot hole to prevent splitting and cracking in wood applications.
