Using this to keep a chicken pen door closed and it's doing the job I need it to do. The quality is good, and it should hold up for a good couple years out in the elements.15inches is a little odd to work with when it comes to finding the right anchor point to ensure the door will close correctly. One spring will do the trick in most cases, but for heavier doors (or those with old hinges) you might need to double up or try mounting it a little differently.

These springs are lighter then i was expecting. I actually doubled up the springs on one door as just the one spring wasn't cutting it. It was a quick modification and as it's on a greenhouse door I'm ok with it. If you have a heavier door you may want a heavier spring. For a lighter screen door this product would work fine.

The Urxirha 2Pcs Screen Door Springs, 20-Inch Extension Springs with Hook Ends for Door have been a fantastic addition to my setup. I use them to keep the clean-out door on my burn barrel in place while burning, ensuring that hot ashes don't spill out. The springs make it incredibly easy to open and close the door while keeping it secure when needed. These springs are durable, reliable, and provide the perfect balance between security and convenience. So far, they have held up to the extreme heat quite well.

The Urxirha Store 20-Inch Extension Springs would typically be used for screen doors, but I found them useful as flexible supports for 120 VAC power cords attached to grow lights over a basement garden. As seedlings are planted and grow, the grow lights above the soil need to start out low and close to the soil. As the vegetable seedlings grow into mature plants, the lights must be raised, but the long electrical cords that power the lights must be kept out of the way and off the lights themselves. The 20-Inch Extension Springs are ideal for this application because they are quite flexible, allowing the power cords to be stretched and contracted with adjustments in the grow light positions. The long 20-inch length means that the "spring constant" can be low enough to be easily stretched by the cord when the lights are positioned close to the soil, but high enough to lift the weight of the cord as the lights are raised. Too stiff a spring would not work at all, nor would a very weak spring that wouldn't support the cord. The spring length, diameter, and wire gauge are very well matched to applications such as this.

These are so much better than one that I actually paid for last year. They are about an inch longer than I wanted but they are built much better and have less flex than the cheap one I bought. Quality is superb and I would order these again.
