Finally got rid of my hay bag because the boys always found a way to crawl into it. This product allows the boys to share hay and no more crawling into the feeder. Sturdy and easy to clean

Brilliant. Brilliant! The feed doesn't go everywhere and they can't chew it. It's brilliant! Space and waste saving makes me hop with joy 😊Sidenote - it is large. It woud be big for small or indoor cage.

These are wonderful to use for Timothy hay. It's easy to fill and makes it easier to provide food and water space in thier homes. Very sturdy as well!

Works great, one larger one slightly smaller. Hooks right over cage and keeps the floor of the cage free of hay.

My rabbit may not be using it exactly as intended in the picture, but he likes it all the same. In retrospect, I would probably mount it higher, and would like to see a flap on the top to prevent sitting on her food. He hasn't peed in it (yet) but I can tell he's been sitting on it while I'm at work due to the compacted nature of the hay, and a berry or five on top some days. It holds 2-4 days' worth of hay, and about 3/4 cup of pellets comfortably. You will need to clean out small uneaten bits of hay from the tray every so often to make room for the pellets. Also, a lot of hay tends to fall through the cage floor, although that may just be because he is a messy eater. I give him about 1/3 cup of pellets twice a day, and thankfully, he doesn't really feel the need to dig in the tray to find the pellets in the hay, so the pellets have not been wasted the way the hay has been.ETA: I purchased the large size later, with intentions of using it for raising litters of bunnies, and was disappointed to find that the spacing between the wires for the hay storage area was larger and caused even more hay wastage. I'm now looking into switching to a traditional J-feeder and separate hay basket with better wire spacing.

It holds so much hay, my rabbits jump into it sometimes definitely worth the money very durable will last a long time I have five of them. Very happy with my purchase would definitely recommend finding a way to stick it onto your cage instead of just taking it off putting hay in it, putting it back on because the rabbits do like to pull at it and it makes a lot of noise, but that’s just my rabbits yours could be totally different, but I would still definitely recommend it as it does hold a lot of hay

we have two guinea pigs so it's best if they have their own. I don't know about your piggy's but ours like sticking their faces in to grab hay. the rungs are close so I got my husband to remove some rungs and make sure their filed (no sharp edges).they love it and have it close to their bathroom area.

Not sure it’s the design issue or my bunny is just too smart, the dry food part has been taken off the hooks by her many times, funny thing is the food in there was not even spilled…not sure how she did that… other than that, good quality.

I have always used the small V-shaped hay mangers. I had always bought and keep guinea pigs in pairs, two at a time. However, I expanded my cavy yards about 5 years ago, and those hay mangers just become decorated all around the pen. These hold much more and two works great for a herd of 8 and likely for a herd of 12. Now, I know a there are guinea pig pet owners who have many pigs and keep them in multiple pens of two at a time. However these animals are herd creatures. I call them my mirco-cows, (or mu-cows)! So I keep all 8 or so in a large multilevel yard. I keep only girls. They are much more happy and at ease. Noises outside from sirens to honking cars with the window does not bother them. They like to sleep in groups, or sometimes alone or in a pair on the second or third level. They are just like the herds of cows I see on farms or ranches just hanging out and lazing about.OK, I am promoting having more than a pair of guinea pigs on a single cage or large yard. Only these mangers are big and I think only useful if you have a small herd of guinea pigs.Don't know about rabbits or other animals. I just keep guinea pigs which I have done for decades now

This seems to be a sturdy feeder and is aesthetically pleasing. The finish quality is nice and overall I like it and am happy with my purchase. What I've noticed that make it less than perfect:-The tray for pellets is held in place by two pieces of the metal grating sticking out like hooks that fit into two holes in the back panel of the tray. It works well at keeping it in place but the hooks are very difficult to see when the feeder is full of hay, making it difficult to find their position and hang the tray. (I've seen my Mom struggle to get it in place.) Perhaps if the hooks were left bare metal the contrast would make them easier to find. (Or even the entire wire that is in line with the hooks were left as bare metal to act as guides.)-The holes being in the back of the tray make it so that in order to hang it, it has to be tilted back. As such, spilling a bit of whatever you've put in it occurs rather easily. If the holes were loops of the wire frame protruding horizontally from the back rather than vertical holes drilled through the back of the tray it could be kept level when hanging it and might prevent spillage.
