Perfect fit for a 2008 Accord without spoiler (more weight). Tricky to install but check YouTube for some hints on installing them without the Honda tool. I used vice grips & had the job done in 10 minutes.HINT: put down the back seat & slide into the trunk on your back, your project is right in front of you & you can create some much needed leverage (muscle) on the springs.

The Runfider 2PCS LH & RH Trunk Rear Lid Torsion Spring set for Honda Accord (2008-2012) is an excellent replacement option. Installation was straightforward, and the fit was perfect, restoring smooth and reliable trunk operation. The springs feel sturdy, and while long-term durability remains to be seen, the build quality inspires confidence. At a budget-friendly price, they perform just as well as OEM parts. This product is a great value for money with secure packaging and easy installation. Highly recommended for anyone needing a quick, effective fix for their trunk lid issue!

I have hit my head on my trunk lid too many times to count. I would put it up and it would drift down while I was bent over putting things in the trunk and next thing I'd straighten up and WHAM!. Right on the noggin. Actually dangerous, too. One time I put it up, turned around and picked up the car seat, turned back and almost put out my eye on the edge. So I bought these springs and while they were a total ... uh, "booger" to install- they work. (Honda makes a special tool for installation, but it costs $35 and its probably going to get used once and then I'll lose it, so I used a giant pair of channel locks instead. They worked, but it was harder than it would have been with the right tool.) Anyway, I put the lid up and it stays up. It even pops up a few inches now when I use the key remote. Very satisfied.

The quality is great. Tough. No problem to use it for 5 or 6 years. Installation is a bit difficult. But not a problem for an old skilled worker like me. Major safety when installing. Safety is always the most important

Just like the original Honda product. But save a lot of money. Works very well. A bit of a pain to install, but what can you do? At least I don't have to listen to squeaky noises anymore.
