Both devices work.Switching the devices on and off works.To me the ability to query the device for its current state is important.Sadly the FF command produces nothing.

When they work, they're perfect. That being said, I am currently running about a 50% failure rate on these modules. I have had 2 arrive DOA, and at least 6 others fail in the field after 2-3 months. The units power up and show as online but do not answer commands to operate Relay 1. My clients are all over the US, so these failures are costing me a fortune in replacement and goodwill.

No instructions available, but it works. Many Google searches agree with the other two reviews in their hex code to operate, however Google results also show a hex FF to query the current status. This has no effect, no bytes returned. I cannot confirm if this unit is supposed to or not. I cannot find any official documentation on this feature, for my project this was necessary

Edit: After I posted this review, the company contacted me and let me get a refund. I would still be careful about testing it before the return window closes, but at least they are quick to fix it.One of the relays only has one functioning relay. The other relay does not work even though I use the same code to operate both relays. I did not test these until after the return window closed. Also, these have a green pcb instead of the pictured blue ones, so these might be a copy of the LCUS-2 relays.

After researching, found a way to send hex to Node-red.
