Even without a slay wall these work well. The framing is strong and the mesh is well made. The front zipper would allow you to put these on shelves and still be able to access whatever is in them to take out something from the bottom without removing everything. Well made and durable.

The photos in the listing do not need further embellishment. Look at them carefully. The "Slatwall" hanging system was developed primarily for garage storage applications similar, but much improved, over the old pegboard system. It uses a board that you attache to the garage wall. This board has ridges and grooves in it that hold all kinds of mounting hardware. If you do not have a Slatwall board mounted in your garage (or other area) these baskets will not work.For these baskets, The Good:1. The metal brackets that hold the mesh baskets are well made, good welds, and good powder coating. No defects noted.2. The mesh baskets are also well made.3. The baskets are pretty large which is both good and bad. They will hold alot of stuff but would be easy to overloadThe not so good:1. I am not a fan of all the felco straps that attach the mesh basket to the metal Skatwall frames. I would have much preferred that the mesh baskets were permanently stitched around the frames. Personal preference on this.

We have a slat wall in our garage that I’m trying to utilize. These bins have been perfect for keeping all of the sports balls up off my garage floor. They fit my slatwall perfectly and the quality is great.

The net is ample size to hold several soccer balls, shin pads and shoes. The zippered front will make it easy to get what you want without removing it from the wall. The two stars is because there were no instructions or brackets sent to hang it to the wall for homes that do not have that. I’ve been to the home improvement stores, and have asked people at the store, trying to find something we can use to attach it to the wall. It cost too much money to be sent without instructions and elements needed to make it useful. Too late for me to return. Otherwise, it would’ve been returned. I realize it is advertised as a “slatwall” basket. Expected alternatives for homes who do not have that available for the amount of money paid. It’s a very simple and inexpensive setup overall, but way over priced, if you have slatwalls already installed.
