About this item

  • ADXL345 is a small, thin, low-power three-axis accelerometer can be high. Up to ± 16 g accelerometer with high resolution (13) measurements. Digital outputs according to a 16-bit twos complement format, can be accessed through the digital interface SPI (3-wire or 4-wire) or I2C.

The ADXL345 is a small, thin, ultralow power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ±16 g.
Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either a SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.

Wired up following klipper docs after locating the pin out for my pz2w. Worked perfectly. I tested both modules.

Was trying to pair it up with a Seeed Studio XIAO RP2040 (that I bought the same day at Amazon) to configure input shaper on my 3d printer. The first adxl345 was DOA. The second one initially worked, was able to get readings in the console. Then, after a minute or so, smoke. RP2040 was fried, literally. Hopefully the USB on my host was not damaged. Was a waste of about 20 dollars. Do NOT recommend

Bought this with the intent of setting up Klipper's input shaper on my core xy 3d printer. The first chip I tried was dead on arrival, but the second worked perfectly. Im happy enough since I only needed one, but maybe be cautious if you need two chips.The chips arrived in a small padded mailer, each chip was individually wrapped in an anti static bag with a 6 pin GPIO male header inside.

I found multiple wiring diagrams to connect this to an RPi for klipper input shaping and I ended up having to desolder and resolder but in the end, this worked flawlessly.
