I was hoping this glue residue eraser would help remove sticky residue from plastic, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While it did pick up some residue, it wasn’t as effective as I had hoped for DIY art projects. It also didn’t work well on tougher adhesives or stickers, which was disappointing. Another downside is that it smells really bad, which makes using it quite unpleasant. And the smell will stick to your hands so wear gloves. The size of the eraser is convenient, but it doesn’t do a great job of thoroughly cleaning surfaces without leaving some remnants. Overall, I found it somewhat useful, but it didn't meet my needs for cleaning glue and adhesive residue, and the odor was a big drawback.

I ordered these because all of my kitchen cabinet doors, when closed, stick a little to the cabinets themselves because a previous owner used a strong adhesive to attach bumper pads to them. I've tried to remove the residual adhesive with multiple types of cleaners, with little effect.After a minute or two of rubbing these on each area with adhesive residue, they made a noticeable improvement. They didn't completely remove all the residue but they removed a significant amount, and the cabinet doors don't stick nearly as much as they used to.There's no harm in trying these as they're soft and gentle on surfaces, so they won't scratch or damage any type of surface you're trying to clean.

This is a great eraserfor cleaning up sticky messes, sticker residue, or even shoe soles. It does look like a rice crispy treat, so you have to make sure your children don’t eat it. I’m very happy with my purchase.
