It took me several tries with the first piece (of 2 pieces) of glass included with this to figure out the issue: it's exactly the side-to-side measurement of the A-55 screen, and is just a little shorter than the top-to-bottom length of the A-55 screen. So my recommendation is to get really familiar with your A-55 screen, feel the edges where the aluminum case comes up to the screen (the case stands just a bit higher than the screen creating an edge you can feel with your fingers and also with the glass when you're ready to install). Use the edge to align the glass, and adjust the top-to-bottom position over the screen. In my case, I actually positioned it so there was a little gap at the bottom, to allow for a rubbery protective case that I also bought for my A55; the rubber case comes right up to the bottom edge of the screen, so giving it plenty of leeway hopefully will prevent the protective case from interfering/popping off the glass screen protector. So I worked all these things out by trying to put on the first piece of glass several times, and that first piece was pretty warped/unusable by prying it off so many times. However, practice makes perfect, and when I moved on to the second piece of glass, one try was all it took. Yeah, it would have been nicer if the screen protector glass was cut maybe a half to a full millimeter narrower side-to-side, but hey... it works.
