These paint scrapers have a comfortable handle on them, so it makes gripping them easy. The corner edge of the scrapers are durable and sharp making the paint removal easier. I have used these in a pulling and pushing manner to get the cracked/chipped/flaking paint off the walls and ceiling.

This pair of carbide scrapers works great. The sharp, perfectly flat surfaces make them perfect for scraping varnish and paint. Scraping is far superior to sanding or stripping because it's faster, easier, and makes less of a mess. And, I like that this kit includes both sizes, as the bigger 1.25 inch scraper can get the bulk of the material while the smaller 5/8 inch scraper is better for the corners. The handles are pretty good, too. They're made of 2 different materials, a green, hard plastic, and a black, softer rubber-like material. This makes it a lot easier on the hands.

The Prozwee 2PCS Carbide Scraper Set is surprisingly an excellent set. Both scrapers feel great in your hand, nice and solid, strong and sturdy with a general feeling of good quality. They’re super sharp and need care when handling, especially if small grand kids are around. Definitely gets a huge thumbs up, for the superb quality.

While not coming to a sharp edge like a chisel, these scrapers have a hard squared off edge that is a good scraper for a flat surface. Great addition to my tool box.

These are well made carbide scrapers. I'm more accustomed to paint scrapers for wood, so these are a dramatic step up in scraping ability. They work on wood, but are 'manly' enough that I suspect it will be easy to damage the wood you're scraping. They work really well on rust or paint on metal.
