These are exactly what you need to use a regular air chuck on a presta valve. They will be difficult to screw on..because the o ring has to seal air pressure around the presta threads. Just push and turn, keeping it square, and it will go on. Another point. Make certain you unlock the presta valve first by twisting the little thingy at the top of the valve. Verify that you have it unlocked by pushing on the thingy, and it should go down, or push in, and let air out. You also need to make sure that these adapters screw on the right amount. If you have more than an inch showing out of your rim, you only need to screw these adapters on until the top of the presta valve is about 1/4 inch BELOW the edge of the adapter. If it is too low, (screwed on too far) then the schrader in the center won't push the presta down enough to let air in. I had to pull my presta valve out, and tighten the nut on it against my rim to get enough of the presta valve to stick out, so I could screw on this adapter. The first time, it was not on far enough, and it wouldn't let air into my tire. Same goes if your presta valve is long. If you try to put your schrader air chuck on, it will leak like crazy trying to get air into your tire. I've seen a lot of bad reviews about these adapters for those reasons. Just put them on the right way, understand how they work, and they will be fine. Also, when you are done airing up, you will need to take the adapter off to screw the thingy back down to lock the valve.

Fits perfectly and attaches solidly to pump and stem. Does not leak. Clean threads, well machined. Plastic caps are tight.
